This is the first course from 'The Magic of Quantum Trilogy' series.
Scientists have been amazed by quantum physics for the past 100 years and despite thousands of experiments we still don't fully understand how quantum particles do what they do! However, we are very grateful that they behave so predictably (far more so than classical particles) allowing us to deploy them in quantum computing.

Whereas classical computers operate on the basis of a 'Bit' being in state off or on ie: 0 or 1 a 'Qubit' which is a quantum particle, can be in a multitude of states ie: superposition each of which can be referenced just as validly as 1 and 0 in the classical state. This allows the quantum computer to process exponentially
This is the third course from 'The Magic of Quantum Trilogy' series.
Whilst the previous two courses are theoretical and experimental, this course is about the scientific process a theory has to go through to become accepted science. Science still refuses to accept that consciousness 'collapses the wave function'. No matter what the outcome it is good for all students to follow the scientific process.
If you look at the Course Sections you will see that the content is extensive and will challenge any student of any age. However, I believe learning correlates with interest and not age!
A quantum theorist friend of mine was genuinely surprised when I told him that I had included a section on 'The Delayed Choice' he very politely asked me if I felt that 9 year olds were ready for 'The Delayed Choice'. I said 'Do you?'
When I speak to my grandchildren -the eldest is 9 years old- I am amazed at how nothing shocks them. I tell them that subatomic particles can be in many places at the same time and can 'talk to' each other over millions of miles and that YOU are made of quantum particles. She just shrugs her shoulders and says 'Really?'
Throughout all of my courses, I strongly advise each student to 'grab a mentor' one that will stay with them for their entire quantum journey. I add another piece of advice, grandparents make the best mentors. Children don't need brains or rules to learn new stuff; they need quality time.
